Hot Folders guide

This guide will demonstrate the basic features of KnowledgeTree's Hot Folders client tool.

Install

Step 1 Execute the setup.exe file.

Step 2 Read and accept the license agreement.

Step 3 Enter the KnowledgeTree server URL, username and password details Hot Folders needs to access your KnowledgeTree repository.

Step 4 Choose a destination folder where Hot Folders will be installed.

Step 5 Confirm that you want to install Hot Folders with the details you have supplied.

Step 6 The installation is complete.

Configure

To start the application, navigate to Start - All Programs - KnowledgeTree - Hot Folders - KnowledgeTree Hot Folders

The Hot Folders window appears.
