Introduction

KnowledgeTree Explorer CP is a cross-platform version of the popular desktop tool that allows drag and drop functionality to the repository. With cross-platform capabilities, users can enjoy this feature from Windows, Linux and Mac desktops. An alpha period for KnowledgeTree Explorer CP will give customers the opportunity to test and comment on the offering.

Features:

  • Browse the KnowledgeTree repository from the desktop on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
  • Drag and drop document from the desktop into KnowledgeTree.
  • View and edit document properties.
  • Version control: Check-in and Check-out document actions.
  • Manage content: copy, cut, paste, rename and delete document and folders

Installing KnowledgeTree Explorer CP


Known Issues

  • Long file names extend over the details box when user views details
  • Blank Pane when doing uploads of Multiple documents
  • Scroll bars intermittently not working in search results view
  • Drag and drop from Explorer to the Desktop not supported
  • Only English is supported at present - languages in the drop down list are for future use
